Sofia Lutteroth is a multidisciplinary artist and bead collector, her works spans sculpture, jewelry, art direction, illustration, Born and raised in the San Diego/Tijuana border region.
She seeks to portray her current state of mind, and invites the viewer to navigate and question their emotions through the concepts that embodies her works.

After completing a certificate program in tempera all’ uovo in Florence, Italy, she received a BA in arts administration from Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Occidente (ITESO) in Guadalajara, Mexico. She then returned to her hometown working at several art institutions; including the San Diego Museum of Art and San Diego Art Institute. During that period she was exposed to the world of second hand culture and found magic in the world of beads.

Some inspirations that are constantly nurturing her pieces include spirituality, psychology, meditation and nature.
She is the founder and creative mind behind @sacred.scraps, a business and art project in which she designs one of a kind accessories from her collection of vintage-antique beads.
